Andrew is a Solicitor in the Immigration Department and has over 5 years’ experience in immigration and human rights law, specialising in business and personal immigration. In 2012, Andrew began his career by representing the Secretary of State before the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration & Asylum Chamber). In this role Andrew took responsibility for a wide range of cases including refugee-based claims, student appeals and applications under the Points Based System. His last role as a civil servant saw him provide legal advice to the Home Office in respect of applications for Judicial Review and High Court litigation relating to immigration and migration policy.
Andrew qualified as a solicitor in 2017 qualified with well-regarded niche immigration firm, D. J. Webb & Co Solicitors, before joining Bates Wells Braithwaite, where he was responsible for family and business immigration applications. Andrew joined Qore Legal in January 2019 and advises candidates under the Tier 1 entrepreneur route and Tier 1 Investors. Andrew also assists companies across all sectors including assisting with Sponsor Licence applications and applications under Tier 2.
Andrew has completed several professional development courses in immigration and is a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners Association (ILPA).
